1:15 pm        David M. Gross

David lives in Bologna, Italy and serves as head of corporate image for DUCATI Motor Holding. Since joining the corporate turn-around team in 1996, he has been involved in every product DUCATI has conceived, manufactured, and marketed world-wide.

David will speak on DUCATI growth and share insights from his book 'Fast Company, A Memoir of Life, Love, and Motorcycles in Italy,' a wildly entertaining journey from the corporate law grind in NYC to style-obsessed Italy and building the ‘beasts’DUCATI motorcycles at the Bologna headquarters. He insightfully sees raw as real in his role as a US management transplant that helped turn the once bankrupt motor company around. David has extracted what is most real from DUCATI’s inner workings, raw antics, and rich heritage to form the cornerstone for rebuilding the brand. Labor disputes, production line passion, high sexual energy, and the very real dance between life and death as a motorcyclist all come alive through his free-wheeling writing and uncensored optic. Hear the truth and passionate behind DUCATI.
